Horizon Nuclear Power is a UK energy company developing a new generation of nuclear power stations. A joint venture between E.ON UK and RWE npower, we plan to deliver around 6,000 MW of new nuclear power station capacity in the UK by 2025. The programme is likely to involve more than £15bn of investment.

We believe that nuclear power can play a key part in meeting the challenge of maintaining affordable and secure energy supplies for the UK, while also tackling the global threat of climate change. This is why we are playing a leading role in developing the next generation of new nuclear power stations in the UK.

New nuclear power stations will help Britain hit emissions reduction targets, create thousands of new jobs in the communities in which they are based, along with thousands more jobs for UK companies. Each power station could create around 800 permanent jobs and up to 5,000 during construction.
