Have Your Say

As part of the planning process for the project, we are seeking the views of the local community, the general public, local authorities and a range of statutory and other non-statutory bodies.

We are committed to clear and transparent communication and in addition to future, formal consultations we will continue to engage with local communities to provide the very latest updates on our proposals.
We also support the independently-chaired Wylfa Newydd Project Liaison Group (PLG), which brings together local community groups and representatives to receive updates on the Project. For more information on the PLG – and to view minutes and presentations from previous meetings – please visit Wylfa Newydd Project Liaison Group.
Our newsletter is distributed across the island at least twice a year and we hold monthly Open Surgeries where people can meet and put their questions to the Project team. Dates for our Open Surgeries are advertised in local media and in our community newsletter.

Community Consultation

Between 31 August and 25 October 2016 we delivered our second stage of pre-application consultation for the Wylfa Newydd Project.  We shared our latest plans and documents, and asked for people’s views on all aspects of the Project.  This was the last scheduled consultation on the Project as a whole before we submit our application for a Development Consent Order in 2017.
