Horizon to hold next open surgery on 20 November

Horizon Nuclear Power is giving local people the chance to learn more about the Wylfa Newydd Project at its next Open Surgery on Monday 20 November.
The monthly Open Surgeries are held on the third Monday of every month on a drop-in basis, so appointments aren’t necessary. Anyone interested in attending can meet the Horizon team at Amlwch Town Hall between 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
Richard Foxhall, Horizon’s Stakeholder Relations Manager, said: “This is our last Open Surgery in Amlwch this year, so we look forward to welcoming anyone who wants to meet the team and ask us questions about the Wylfa Newydd Project.
“We’ve had a busy few weeks, with the submission and acceptance by Natural Resources Wales, of our Radioactive Substances Regulation Environmental Permit.
“It marks a major milestone in the Project, as all operating nuclear power stations in the UK need to hold this licence. If it’s granted, it means we’ll be allowed to manage and move radioactive material from the Wylfa Newydd site.”
