Find out more about plans for Wylfa Newydd in Cemaes this month

Horizon Nuclear Power is inviting local people to meet the team at its next Open Surgery on Monday 18 June to learn more about the Wylfa Newydd Project, including the recently submitted Development Consent Order (DCO) application.
Running from 1pm to 7pm at Cemaes Village Hall, these drop-in events offer local people an opportunity to find out more about the Wylfa Newydd Project. No appointments are required.

Delyth Owen, Horizon’s Community Involvement Officer, said: “The Open Surgeries are a great way for us to talk to people about Wylfa Newydd and the opportunities it will bring to Anglesey and North Wales.

“One major milestone for us this month is the submission of our DCO application for Wylfa Newydd to the Planning Inspectorate. If granted, the DCO gives us the permission needed to start building the power station. It’s a huge step for the Project, and one we couldn’t have reached without the ongoing support and engagement from communities across North Wales. We encourage anyone wanting to learn more about the latest steps for the Project to come along to the June Open Surgery – we look forward to seeing people there.”
