A5025 road improvement planning application approvedThe Isle of Anglesey County Council’s Planning Committee has approved a planning application from Horizon Nuclear Power for improvement works to the A5025.
Welcoming the decision, Gwen Parry-Jones, Executive Director, Operational Development for Horizon said: “We’re very pleased to have received planning permission for improving the existing A5025 between Valley and the Wylfa Newydd site. This will see much-needed improvements to the 10-mile route including localised widening to create a consistent carriageway cross section, widening on bends and carriageway reconstruction.
We will now work with the Isle of Anglesey County Council and other stakeholders to finalise the processes and schedule of works and will announce further updates in due course.”
