Horizon’s Open Surgeries step into autumn

Horizon Nuclear Power will host its next monthly Open Surgery on Monday 17 September in Cemaes Village Hall.
Taking place on the third Monday of each month, the drop-in Open Surgeries give local people the opportunity to learn more about the Wylfa Newydd Project and meet the Horizon team.

Richard Foxhall, Communications and Stakeholder Relations Manager at Horizon, said: “With a busy summer now behind us we’re looking ahead to lots of exciting activity in the community and on site. We’re also preparing for the examination phase of our application for a Development Consent Order, the permission we need to build the new Wylfa Newydd Power Station.

“Earlier this month we launched our community vehicle, which residents may have seen at a number of locations across the island, including Burwen, Rhosybol and Rhosgoch. While this is a great way for us to speak to residents across the island, our monthly Open Surgery sessions will continue on the third Monday of every month as usual.”

Anyone interested in visiting the community vehicle can find more details about where it will be and when via Horizon’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, @horizonnuclear.
