HORIZON NEWS - 11.01.2019
Learn more about Wylfa Newydd at first Open Surgery of 2019Horizon Nuclear Power will hold its first Open Surgery of 2019 on Monday 21 January in Cemaes Village Hall.
From 1pm to 7pm, members of the public are invited to come along to meet the Horizon team and find out more about the Wylfa Newydd Project. The session is open to everyone on a drop-in basis, so no appointments are needed.
Held on the third Monday of each month, the Open Surgeries provide people with the chance to view the latest information on the project and ask members of the team any questions they might have.
Richard Foxhall, External Affairs Manager Wales, said: “As we await the decision on our Development Consent Order planning application and look forward to the start of other major works, 2019 promises to be a landmark year for Wylfa Newydd.
“These drop-in sessions give local people the opportunity to speak to a member of the team each month and talk about any part of the project. If you’re not able to pop into our Open Surgery, our team also visits villages across Anglesey in our community vehicle each week, so keep an eye out on Twitter to find out where the bus will be.”
